James Bayly (DH 6)
Obv: Hope standing with her right hand on an anchor, and her left hand on an oval tablet inscribed "JAs BAYLY DRAPER POOLE • "
Rev: The arms of the town of Poole. PROSPERITY TO THE TOWN OF POOLE 1795
Edge: I PROMISE TO PAY ON DEMAND ONE HALFPENNY X

Notes:

James Bayly was a linen and woolen draper in the town of Poole.

This token exhibits clash marks caused by the die coming together with no flan (planchet) in place. The pressure from the strike left part of the obverse design impressed into the reverse and vice versa (see photos below).

Even though this is a "flaw", it does not adversely affect the value. In fact, clashed die varieties are sought after by variety/error collectors.
