Guest's Patent Boots & Shoes (DH 308)
Obv: Royal arms, supporters, and crest. GUESTS PATENT BOOTS & SHOES
Rev: A boot, shoe, and lady's slipper. NO. 9 . SURREY ST. BLACK FRIARS . ROAD . HALFPENNY 1795
Edge: PAYABLE AT LONDON . + . + . + . + . + .
Notes: Guest went out of the shoe business and became a "chemist". He came up with something called Guestonian Medicine. I can't find much information on his Guestonian Medicine but I believe he was considered a "quack" by the medical community of the day.
